The Wyche Institute committee members will hold data about you for booking and invoicing purposes and, if you provide goods or services, we will hold data about you in order to arrange receipt of goods and services and to pay invoices.  We may also collect data from you in order to tell you about our activities, events and services.

 

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR for the purpose of managing the Institute and its activities.

 

You have the right to be informed about the information we hold about you and to ensure it is accurate and up to date.  You have certain rights to erasure of your personal data and to restrict processing of it.  You also have rights regarding data portability, objection and in relation to automated decision-making and profiling. 

 

We will not hold your data for longer than is necessary or as required by law.  We may not agree to disposal of data if have a legitimate or legal need to retain it and, where there is a legal obligation to do so, we will keep a record of destruction of your personal data.
